Xiaomi (小米) is one of the leading smartphone manufacturers in China. It also manufactures Tablets, Laptops, TVs, TV Boxes and a bunch of high-quality house appliances, including smart home solution.

Most house appliances and smart home products are released under the Mijia (米家) brand, that is Xiaomi Home (家 /jiā/), here's a list of worth noting released products with smart in mind:

The simple fact is that Xiaomi took a couple year of development and achieved to be one of the largest smart home solution provider in the world, they build smart home products literally cover every scenario a normal user wants. And with the help of third-party libraries normally named Homebridge-Mi/Xiaomi-XXX, a programmer could easily bridge these products to iOS HomeKit platform, for better usability and easier management.

Cons

  • Most products are available only in China Mainland
  • No official support for iOS HomeKit
  • The iOS app is unstable & hard to use
